  • Standard VT and high-voltage test source in one: improved winding design turns the substation's own voltage transformer into the HV test equipment for the GIS primary system
  • All standard VT values retained — type-tested to IEC 61869-1 and IEC 60044-2, voltage factor 1.9 for 8 h, measuring frequency 50/60 Hz
  • On-site high-voltage testing per IEC standards and proposed test levels (IEC 62271-203 table 107) — test preparation within minutes, re-testing possible at any time over the whole life cycle
  • No huge temporary HV test facilities: no large test container, no extra space, low investment — small, lightweight test equipment transportable as carry-on luggage, powered from a standard socket (e.g. 3-phase, 400 V, 20 A)
  • Proven in the field: working in GIS substations for more than 8 years, approx. 200 units in operation in 32 countries, no incidents — also available for blue GIS® (SF6-free) substations with no SF6-gas handling at site for test preparation
