Maintenance & repairs

Keep switchgear, transformers and protection systems performing across their whole lifecycle. Experienced service teams deliver preventive maintenance, condition assessment, diagnostics and repair for high-voltage equipment — from a single scheduled inspection to a planned maintenance campaign across an entire fleet.

Every intervention starts from the actual condition of your equipment. A structured condition checklist — type, serial number, operating-cycle counters, short-circuit operations and visual findings such as leaks or corrosion — lets the service team scope exactly the work that is needed. For transformers, insulating-oil services such as degassing, drying and regeneration can restore oil parameters and extend service life, in many cases while the unit stays energized.

For critical assets, optional on-call agreements provide 24/7 access to specialists in high-voltage and transformer technology, with defined response times for remote support and on-site deployment. A certified support center coordinates and documents every case through to closure.

Example: an operator of 3AP1 circuit breakers submits the condition checklist for several units, including serial numbers, operating-cycle counters and a noted gas leakage on one pole. The service center scopes a combined intervention — leak repair on the affected breaker plus preventive maintenance on the rest — confirms the outage window, executes on site and hands over a condition report with prioritized follow-up recommendations for each unit.

  1. Request a service via the product page or the services section, stating the equipment type and serial number.
  2. Complete the short condition checklist: operating-cycle counts, control and motor voltages, and visual findings such as leaks, corrosion or damage.
  3. The service team reviews the checklist and proposes a scope — inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnostic measurements or repair.
  4. Schedule and site access are confirmed; you make the equipment available at the agreed date.
  5. Qualified switchgear or transformer specialists carry out the work on site.
  6. You receive a service report with findings and prioritized follow-up recommendations — and, if desired, an on-call agreement for continuous coverage.
