  • Hybrid concept: dead-tank 3AP circuit breaker combined with the SF6-insulated disconnector / earthing switch of the GIS type 8DN9 and the Ruhrtal-design outdoor earthing switch in one module
  • Approximately 40 percent substation space reduction compared with a conventional 145 kV AIS H-layout using five discrete dead tanks
  • Modular per-bay configuration: current transformer, inductive voltage transformer, cable connection assembly, high-speed earthing switch and Voltage Detection System (VDS) as options
  • Separated gas compartments between circuit breaker and disconnector increase availability; gas-insulated components are about four times more reliable than air-insulated ones (CIGRE)
  • Proven 3AP self-compression interrupter and stored-energy spring drive; one- or three-pole operation; more than 1,200 DTC delivered to over 30 countries
