Ratings as published per factory in the Siemens Energy Power Transformers FY2025 portfolio presentation (Aug 2025). Weiz, Linz and Trento list GSU explicitly at these values; Nuremberg, Zagreb and Charlotte publish one combined rating for their power-transformer line including GSU. Charlotte factory expected operational Nov 2026.
| Manufacturing plant | Max rating (MVA) | Voltage class (max) |
|---|---|---|
| Nuremberg, Germany | 1,400 MVA | 765 kV |
| Weiz, Austria | 1,300 MVA | 765 kV |
| Zagreb, Croatia | 1,000 MVA | 550 kV |
| Charlotte, USA | 500 MVA | 550 kV |
| Linz, Austria | 250 MVA | 300 kV |
| Trento, Italy | 200 MVA | 245 kV |
